On 2-27-13 the team was taken to the Kaohsiung City Headquarters for a tour of the building. The team learned about the ins and outs of the police department and were amazed at the camera system that the city utilizes. With close to 16,000 cameras to monitor traffic, watch for illegal and dangerous activity, and a total cost of around $50 million US dollars, Kaohsiung is leading the way in being one of the worlds safest cities to live.
The team also visited Kaohsiung Municipal High School and the Agricultural Research Center.
Thanks to Kaohsiung Central and North Rotary Clubs for sponsoring the day.
