Today I was able to sneak away from the pack for a few moments. A couple members from one of the Taiwanese Rotary clubs took me to a traditional Chinese market called Linya Market. I saw lots of fruits, vegetables, and meats (including the famous black-skinned chicken) that were very fresh and very locally grown. Given our limited time and appetites, the only thing we had time to pick up were a few century eggs.

Aahh... The black chicken. Just laying there in the open market as if it is a common occurrence. If they only knew who rare they are!
